12.06

One of the most common problems you have may noticed if you have just started singing is that of running out breath when you are participating in a singing session. There are two common ways to help resolve this little problem. The first way is through a term coined phrasing, which simply means marking certain points during a song at which time we should be breathing. The second way is through diaphragmatic breathing. During a singing session, a singer will be making sure that the abdomen expands rather than the chest. Have a go at both of these tips to see which one you prefer to go with and what is going to work for you. Practicing one or both of these methods can help you with how to improve your singing, so that hopefully one day soon running out of breath will not be a barrier to your singing sessions any more.

Beginner guitar users need to learn the guitar tricks before buying the best electric guitar so that the guitar you buy is the one that suits you and you are comfortable with. Firstly, for beginners always go to the salesman and ask him/her to give the guitar which is maple neck with medium radius and twenty two frets. Secondly, one of the common mistakes made by beginners is that they do not choose or select the right pickup on the appropriate or the best time. One must first practice by using different switches in different situations such as playing genre, playing in solo and in various other different circumstances. For example when playing in solo one must first understand that there are three vibratos in which you can play the guitar. The first one is conventional vibrato, the second one is classical and the last one is tremolo vibrato which makes the sound better and dynamic.

I Wish I Can Go Back in Time

Sometimes, I just really wish I can time travel. I wish I can go back in time to read this Yamaha NP30 review. Why? Well, this one terrible site that will remain unnamed recommended the Korg SP-250. He wrote in his review that it was a very portable digital piano. Well, it wasn’t until I actually received it that I found out it weighed 45 pounds! Meanwhile, the Yamaha NP30 weighs less than 15 pounds.

Unfortunately, I already wasted $700 on the Korg SP-250. I wasn’t looking for the best digital piano. I already have an acoustic piano. I was looking for a digital piano that I could take. It would be convenient to have when I travel.

I wish I can go back in time. Now, I’m debating whether or not to buy the Yamaha NP30 as well. I can’t take back the money I spent on the Korg SP-250 so I consider it a sunk cost. However, now it’s whether or not I want to spend even more money. I can’t believe I made such a terrible mistake.

It's Good Music

2011
10.15

Listening to hip hop music in the car really helps me stay awake. The betas are really uplifting. At least that is how I feel! I never thought that I would be having these long drives to and from work before, but I guess that this is what I get for being so eager to take a position that I knew nothing about. That is okay though, because money is money, and I feel like at least I have my music to keep me up. Bumping and grinding in the car is pretty awesome when you are by yourself. I try to turn it up sometimes too. Driving home at night can be a bit spooky sometimes, but the music that I have in my car chases it all away. I know that music is pretty much my life. I do not know what to do without it. I am pretty glad that I at least have it available in my car.

When you’re talking about talented and hard working music artists then you can not help yourself noticing a promising Demi Lovato. She a very yound singer, songwriter and an actress. Having a lead role in TV shows like Camp Rock, Sonny with a Chance and Barney & Friends. Demi started her career early. Demi Lovato released her debut musical album in 2008, which already reached Billboard 200. Her second album was released in 2009 and the latest one on September 20, 2011. Demi started playing piano at the age of seven and early on knew what she wanted to do in her life. Perform. I love her music and since I’ve heard her newest hit I knew I wanted to learn Skyscraper sheet music on my piano. It’s a great song. I love the melody, chords and lyrics as well because they reflect the fellings when you’re down or up. Demi Lovato shows her talent through writing songs I really hope she will continue to write great tunes in the future and years to come. Thinking about it, it’s a shame artists like Amy Winehouse ended their career this way. I hope Demi is smarter then that.

Happiness with Wine

2011
09.18

“Red Red Wine” was a song that enjoyed greater success when it was covered than when performed by the original artist. The song was originally by Neil Diamond but it was only a modest hit for him in 1968 when it reached 63 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Between Diamond’s version and UB40′s version was also a version by Tony Tribe who recorded a reggae take on the song. His version charted in UB40′s home country at 36 in the UK Singles chart. It was this version by Tony Tribe that inspired UB40′s cover version.

The band was not aware that the song was originally done by Diamond, having only heard Tribe’s version and they recorded a reggae version of the song of their own. This would go on to be the most successful version of the song as it became one of the major 80s hits for UB40.

The song went to number 1 in the UK, the Netherlands and New Zealand in 1984 and later when it was re-released in the USA in 1988 it went to number 1 there also.
